Moments of the streets
Well, maybe not. On the other hand, this picture has a lot to do with enterprise. So, having ruled out the possibility of a spaceship floating in from the right, I can reveal that this actually is shot from a forecourt, showing a bit of roof against the skyline. We are back in the heart of Paris’ financial district, La Défense, with its architecturally stunning scenery. You can recap my previous post from La Défense here.

I love shooting in backlight! It’s so intriguing. And natural light doesn’t at all have to emerge from a direct light source.
This picture was captured a couple of weeks ago, at my employers premises. The wall on the opposite building is almost completely white. In the golden summer morning it reflected the incoming light heavily, and made my colleague stand out in perfect silhouette.
London is always a treat, and every time I end up at the Barbican Center, in the art gallery. The building is architectonically amazing, and especially the art gallery is in itself an exhibition of lines, shadows and strange bends.
Unfortunately it is not permitted to take photos inside … even if you just want to take them of the gallery, not the displays (which of course are protected by copyright). But I managed to sneak up my camera and capture this before the attendants came down on me like a ton of bricks.
