Spotting this tableau in a window as I walked by, I couldn´t resist the urge to capture it. And immediately I was reminisced of Tosca, the opera by the Giacomo Puccini, the maestro himself.
In a first act encounter, unfolding in the church of Sant’ Andrea della Valle, the jealous Tosca makes her lover reassure his love and faithfulness in front of the statue of the Madonna (“Innanzi la Madonna!”).
And to fill in the general picture, this scene emerged, just a stone’s throw away from the catholic church in Oslo, in a street with the rather mind blowing name “Dops gate” (literally, although actually not meant to be, “Drug Street”) …

A couple of days ago, I took my camera and went for a walk in the evening. The autumn is closing in on us now, and at 8.30 p.m. it was already dark. Outside a theatre building, I came across this scene, which I was fortunate enough to capture.
Before going to work, the other day, I took a stroll in central Oslo. At the foot of this stair I noticed the morning sun above me shining quite strong, making all kinds of effects on people. So, I waited a while, aiming my camera at the top of the steps, seeking for situations to emerge.
