Autumn´s creeping in on us, (actually we´re already in the middle of it), with winter not far away. And the light has changed as well. Not only is it getting dark much sooner than just a few weeks ago, but the mere light is colder in a way.
This shot is not so much about the cold northern light as about darkness. And with the soft darkness follows, just a step behind, the rather harsh artificial light, creating options for contrasts wherever they encounter. This picture was captured at Schous Plass (engl. ´Schous Square´), just outside the local library. The plastered wall courteously reflected the incoming light, and thereby provided its surface as light source, making people passing by really stand out against the background.
