A couple of weeks ago, me and my camera took us the privilege of an afternoon break. I work just a few hundred meters away from the area of Valerenga (Norwegian: Vålerenga), famous for being an old working class district, still with a decent amount of the traditional architecture intact, and also the founding place for Oslo´s (in my opinion) best and most traditional football team.
This shot was taken outside Valerenga School (Norwegian: Vålerenga Skole), a primary school facing the nearby park, and dating from 1895.
I find the juxtaposition of the little girl in front of the huge school building quite intriguing, don´t you think?
