Rodelokka, is one of the old working class districts of Oslo. As the city developed through the seventies much upgrading took place, but you will nevertheless still find grade listed wooden houses, and some occasional brick counterparts, squeezed in between the city´s ever so bustling architecture. And it was right here, just as I was walking through the vicinity a few weeks ago, I suddenly encountered this couple, having a sit down in front of their house.

The last days the temperature´s improved considerably, and the winter has subsequently faded away, so they are most certainly gone, now. A bit sad, as they were really a pair of cuties, but on the other hand, I can´t really say I miss the cold.

But living in Norway they´re bound to be back ever so soon. Just let us have at least some summer in the meantime.

So far, we haven´t had much snow here in Oslo. A little bit unusual, but the climate change is taking its toll, I guess. Not that I miss it … The snow, I mean. I´m happy not having to pack myself into layers and layers of clothing, before hitting the courtyard with the shovel.

But some days ago, a light drizzle did fall off the skies, and I took the opportunity to pop into a nearby park to check up on any pictorial effects. As you can see, the ground is still visible, so it wasn´t that much we got, but still it was just enough to contribute to the scenery a tiny bit.
